 About Us

My name is Eko Rahadi, I studied at the Bogor Agricultural University, and I am the owner of Café Rifka ( café-rifka.business.site ) which I started in 2012.

Our address is in Senaru village, in front of the gate of Sendang Gile Waterfall. Until now, Café Rifka café-rifka.business.site continues to grow and progress rapidly. Good management system

 and strict quality control, making Café rifka has received the 2018 Traveler's Choice award from TripAdvisor, 117 Google reviews, 77 tripadvisor reviews, and an award from the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism.

At first I had no plans to set up a trekking organization on Mount Rinjani, but because many of our guests dined at Café Rifka, they complained about garbage and environmental damage and frequent forest fires in the Mount Rinjani area, so I was called upon to organize guides and professional porters who are committed to protecting the Mount Rinjani area. I recruited them to become a solid and compact tour guide team and have a sense of concern for the Biosphere and the ecosystem of Mount Rinjani.

Moreover, since April 2018, UNESCO has designated Mount Rinjani as a Global Geopark, so we, as residents of the Mount Rinjani Biosphere, feel fully responsible for the sustainability of water, air, flora and fauna there in a sustainable manner.

 Our form of concern is always campaigning for the Rinjani Climbing to be free of waste, and reforestation of deforested areas due to frequent forest fires.

Minimizing the use of plastic and recycling plastic waste into useful materials. We have also collaborated with local and national organizations, including those who care about environmental sustainability, such as KPPWS (Community for Youth Care for Tourism Senaru), to carry out real activities in preserving nature and the environment in the Mount Rinjani area.

As the owner of RINJANI BIOSFER TREEKING, we don't just run a business selling climbing services that only take financial benefits, but we always set aside a budget for janitors and reforestation, so that our team is passionate about preserving Mount Rinjani.

Therefore, we hope that those of you who will join the RINJANI BIOSFER TREKKING have the same mission and commitment, namely concern for the cleanliness and sustainability of the Rinjani Global Geopark, in addition to witnessing the beauty of the panorama inside.
